We've been proud to serve home and business owners throughout Jacksonville, NC and Wilmington, NC since 1994. Our technicians can bring almost any surface back to its original state. From acrylic to baked enamel on steel, we do it all!
When your bathtub, shower, or sink finish is worn, or your bathroom remodeling and a color change is what you’re after, bathtub resurfacing is one of the best options. Resurfacing a bathtub in virtually any color makes bathroom remodeling a breeze.
Bathtub resurfacing is also our recommendation when the bathtub damage is not isolated to just one or two locations but is distributed all over the entire surface. If you're interested in learning more about our bathtub resurfacing work, please feel free to give us a call today!
1. Atlantic Bath and Kitchen resurfacing process begins with bathtub scraping to remove large pieces of damaged bathtub surfaces.
2. This is followed by washing and applying solvents to the bathtub repair surface.
3. An etching process is then used followed by a neutralizing solution and then bathtub sanding to smooth out the surface.
4. Solvents and neutralizers are applied a second time to complete the preparation stages, followed by the undercoat and two to three coats of bathtub surface coats.
The refinished bathtub surface after the resurfacing will have a high gloss and be as durable as the original surface if not stronger. The best part is that it is easy to care for and clean. Follow these common sense cleaning procedures and your refinished bathtub will stay beautiful looking for 10 to 15 years or more.
